2016 CTRM Conference – Metals Risk Expert Added

The agenda for the 2016 CTRM Conference is now complete, we are just waiting on materials from the various speakers to update the agenda on the site. The latest addition is Mr David Waite of CRM associates who will speak on “How metal processing companies use CTRM system to maximize effectiveness and reduce costs”. David has spent over 50 years in the commodity business. He was educated in England at Magdalen College Oxford and began his career at Noranda Sales Corporation in London and Toronto in various metals and concentrates marketing roles from 1964-72. He then moved to Noranda’s associate Rudolf Wolff, a founding member of the London Metal Exchange, to head up its physical trading division, became a director at age 30 and moved to New York to start up Wolff’s US brokerage subsidiary in 1977. From 1978 to 1990 he was with the investment banking house Drexel Burnham in New York, ultimately as the Senior VP responsible for its US metals and energy futures brokerage and finance group, and from 1990 to 1993 he was a Managing Director at Wall Street house PaineWebber, heading up its commodity and foreign exchange division in London and New York.
