Amphora has performed several remote implementations this last year and all had gone well said David Glasspool, head of Sales and Marketing at Amphora. However, he did caution that implementations take 20-25% longer in his opinion when performed remotely simply because more go arounds are required in terms of communication meaning that information needed can take longer to obtain. “It is also cheaper for the client to do as we don’t need hotels or flights and so expenses are minimized,” he said. The most recent implementation success was a biofuels customer in Europe. In fact, the biofuels customer was one of several wins this year to date. David expects three to four more before year end pretty much maintaining last year’s record year. Most of these are expected to be European and North American clients. “We do our implementations pretty quickly now,” he said. “6 weeks to three months in lockdown from start to finish.” Amphora is also working diligently on its risk overlay product called ComRisk due out at the back end of the year in phase 1 form. “It will bring a different look and feel as well as several new functionalities to all of our applications and… continue reading
