I had never been to Stockholm or Sweden for that matter. So the invitation to speak at the Brady PLC CAB in Stockholm was something I was looking forward to. I was not disappointed. My topic was ‘CTRM in a Low Commodity Price environment’ and it seemed well received, essentially focusing on the rise of CTRM in the Cloud. Being followed by a speaker from Brady partner, Rackspace, the opening session was somewhat focused on the cloud. Brady CTO, Jon Hobbs, announced Brady Analytics, a powerful graphical analytic overlay to all of Brady’s products based on the Brady Framework and MS PowerBI. Mr. Hobbs also discussed how the Brady development toolkit can be used by customers to build complete or partial solutions. An early evening cruise around Stockholm put the city on display and it is a remarkable city in many respects. Dinner and an Abba tribute band followed. The Brady CAB was extremely well attended and the various sessions or streams were full and busy. I got to reconnect with many old friends, clients and colleagues and discuss CTRM issues in some detail during the networking breaks and entertainment. Of course, the backdrop to the CAB was one of
