I recently had the opportunity to catch-up with Ken Han, CEO of Enuit to get his views on current market developments and his company’s activities. According to Mr. Han, they are continuing to see lots of activity in most market regions including North America, Europe, and particularly so in the Asia-Pac region in Singapore, China and Japan. They also anticipate India to be an emerging market for ETRM vendors. In addition to having an active sales pipeline, they are also busy implementing several yet-to-be-named very large companies across multiple categories of energy, though refined products appear to be the most active. He noted that though Enuit has been competing and winning more than their fair share of deals going against the traditional large-scale CTRM vendors in the region, they have also started selling an “out of the box” solution (requiring little or no implementation effort) for smaller firms of up to 20 users. He said that with the new product offering, they are now actively competing with cloud-native solutions in the lower tier of the market and have recently closed two new deals and are currently in discussions with several others.
