Contigo Is Out of the Blocks Early in 2017

I recently spoke with Mr. Tim Rogers, Head of Sales & Business Development for Contigo, about Contigo and his views on what is happening across the industry. Top of my list was to ask how the market looked at the moment for ETRM software in Europe. Mr. Rogers told us that there had been something of a pick up since the beginning of the year or earlier in terms of activity. In fact, Contigo had signed several new deals in Q1 and early Q2 of 2017 including two very prominent names that they hope to announce in due course. Both of these larger new customers were being deployed in the cloud as were the other new clients. Cloud it seems is now well in vogue and Mr. Rogers told us that one of the recent deals was a conversion from a paid trial. Paid trials become eminently more feasible in a cloud environment. He pointed out that Contigo utilize a single tenanted model hosted in the cloud allowing each customer to benefit from a configured solution but reducing costs via the use of a shared infrastructure.
