Simon Wheeler, CEO of Energy One Europe, sees a robust software market for Contigo, eZ-nergy and EGSSIS so far this year but is also being kept busy with a lot of transition work associated with getting the three businesses on a common platform going forward. Contigo has contracts out with prospective new customers but also a bucketful of add-on enhancement work for various clients, he told me. “We are seeing a lot of interest in the new VaR module, new things like battery optimization and automation in general,” he said. A new version of enTrader is due out next month. Meanwhile, the company has also been busy on the battery optimization side and has a proof of concept going on with a Beta version of that new software. On the automation side, enFlow is also getting interest and there are a couple of Proof of Concept’s going on and an enFlow expert coming over from Australia to help support the software in Europe. Increasingly, Energy One Europe is also using the product to automate internal activities as well.
