In talking with many of the E/CTRM and CM vendors this last 2-3 weeks, most, if not all, continue to see demand. A case in point is Gen10 where Richard Williamson, CEO, told me last week that they continue to receive inquiries and that things mostly continue to move forward, “Actually, a couple of these recent inquiries may turn into the fastest CM sales we have ever managed,” he reports. He acknowledged that some opportunities have understandably slowed as people try to take stock of the current situation, but others have arisen and are moving forward. “It’s a business continuity issue for some businesses,” he said. “With workers at home, how do they access paper files they need to get business done? How do they digitize their operations, how do they collaborate better in these unique times? “ Gen10 are using cloud and remote technology more than ever as they complete some of their first 100% virtual implementations. “An important milestone that we have been gearing towards,” Richard told me. “We have done the last three implementations remotely, although these were adding locations or offices to an existing set up.
