Occasionally we get an inquiry based around what we have written about on CTRMCenter. Recently, we were contacted by a UK firm – Emdash – about its capabilities since they had read a blog about ION and automated testing. Having not heard of the firm, we readily agreed to get a briefing. Well, Emdash turns out to be a bunch of guys who have years of experience implementing, optimizing, and managing ETRM environments. Its value proposition is around simplify complex application management so users “can focus on their core business,” its website says. Emdash’s Shakti Gohil suggests that its strength are “to enable the customer to deploy consistently and with ease, so completing and delivering complex application projects on time within budget.” The company is focused on energy and financial markets, and essentially has two products – DevOps and Monitor, I was told during the call. It’s main product, DevOps, is focused around automating workflow and IT environment management Shakti told us.
