It’s been a while since we visited with CTRM Cubed and so it was good to talk with Simon Piercy this week and get a short catch up. CTRM Cubed markets its solution – TradeCube – as an instant, connected, self-service and cloud native CTRM. It is, as Simon puts it, a no thrills CTRM in the cloud designed for smaller firms who need something cost effective yet fully functional for basic trading. It has been busy building out its customer base, Simon told me as well as adding functionality like an M7 connector for EPEX that it just delivered. “We add new functionality all the time through monthly upgrades. There is no charge for the upgrades beyond the low monthly per user fee,” he said. This means that customers must trust the vendor and they must have confidence in the releases. “We have had close to 100% uptime for two years now and invested considerable time and money into automating testing – unit and regression testing,” he told me. “We have a nice piece of software now.
