So last week was E-World in Essen back to its February slot. I attended on the Wednesday and it was absolutely packed – perhaps the busiest I had ever seen it. I did the rounds of the CTRM and related vendors while my colleague, Irina Reitgruber, focused in on the renewables and energy transition tech. side of the show. E-World is a superb place to meet old colleagues and people in the industry as well as catch up with what is on offer. I bumped into a lady I had not seen since my TransEnergy days in Houston – some 26-years ago for example.
