The CTRM software arena is very active and despite everything, we often find new vendors and products. Recently, I found another called Xceler and last week, I had a call to find out more about the software and the company behind it – Xceler. Its website describes Xceler as a “SaaS Platform driving the innovation in Supply Chain for a Seamless, Intelligent and Real-Time visibility of your Trading and risk management.” The solution targets ags & softs right now and currently has eight customers using it, I was told, including two who also use it for coal trading. Essentially, the solution is suitable for bulk commodities and incorporates a full suite of functionality around the supply chain and risk management. Its customers are all currently located in the Asia-Pac region but Xceler would like to extend its reach into the Americas and Europe. The Xceler development started in 2019 in Singapore and has since experienced solid growth in areas like edible oils, for example..
