LEAD Consult was at E-World with a sizeable booth and so this week, I connected with the principals – Alexander Nikolov and Dragomir Stanchev – to learn more about their consulting business. It is specialized in providing business and IT consulting services in the energy and financial sectors, as well as in software development and IT outsourcing, according to its website, and was originally set up in Bulgaria. These days, LEAD Consult has offices in Germany, Romania, Spain and other European locations and has expended to around 75 staff. Set up around 14-years ago, the company started out in energy and specifically around the Allegro CTRM software product, where it offered support and consulting services. Subsequently, it has added capabilities across other E/CTRM platforms and into other areas of IT. These include areas like ETRM Integration, Financial IT consulting, software development and data integration. However, LEAD Consult has also entered the product side of things with its LEAD Universal loader software. This is a middleware solution designed to connect all types of systems, they told me.
