As many know, there was a recent article in the press that said Triple Point’s owners, Welsh Carson, had put the company on the block, seeking to leverage the solid success the company has had over the last few years (20-30% year over year growth) into a very significant payday. According the article, Welsh paid $500 million in late 2011 and have recently been asking some $750 million for company.

I’ve had numerous contacts today that say a deal is being signed and that within a few days, Triple Point will have changed hands.
