ETRMServices now has more than 135 people operating out of eight global offices in the US, UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Italy, India, and Singapore and it has grown to this size with “continuous, sustainable growth over 15-years,” said Shreedevi Thacker, Partner, adding that the company was bootstrapped and has no outside debt. The company is primarily focused in and around energy and commodity trading and counts trading firms, utilities, IPP’s, Merchants and so on as its customers. “ETRMServices is a primarily services company with a powerful toolkit to enable data flows across platforms, data migration and exchange/external connectivity,” she told me. The toolkit includes various adapters (Exchange Adapters) for connectivity within an energy and commodities trading business. Shreedevi believes that ETRMServices’ success and differentiation comes from being customer-centric, having highly technical skilled consultants with experience in energy and commodities, and through building long-term relationships with customers. “Our team comprises of hand-picked individuals who are highly skilled, curious and have some seniority and experience in the industry.
