nGenue is finding success in retail gas, and moving deeper into ETRM

Back in August of last year, I wrote in this blog about the emergence of nGenue in the retail gas markets.  As I wrote at the time, “Mr. (Kenneth) Hall (nGenue’s CEO) and group of investors bought Lloret Data Systems and rebranded to nGenue; and since that acquisition, his team has devoted most of their time to updating the system, including developing a modern and consistent UI and enabling the solution to run in the cloud.”  At the time of that writing, Richard Pinos, Head of Customer Success, had indicated they were seeing a lot of interest in the product and they anticipated that interest would result in new customer sales by the end of the year. I recently had the chance to catch up with them to get an update on their activities since. According to Mr. Pinos, their sales efforts and forecast from last year have come to fruition – with new customers signed last year and several strong prospects currently in the sales funnel.  Mr. Hall noted that their strategy has continued to evolve in order to address the needs of a bifurcated market place.
