E-World has always been the main event of the year for the energy software business. For over two decades, I have been participating in this event, representing leading software vendors in the energy sector. However, this year’s E-World was notably different for me, for several reasons. Firstly, I attended in my new capacity as a vendor market analyst, which gave me the opportunity to engage with numerous companies offering software solutions. Secondly, my focus was on seeking out innovative companies driving the transition to clean energy. I had the chance to meet with many companies I did not know before and delve into discussions about their business models and aspirations. I would like also to mention that this year’s E-World marked a significant shift. It surpassed the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and emerged with unprecedented levels of interaction.
